- Empty Stomach:- Ideally, do practice your yoga with empty stomach or after 2 to 3 hours of having a solid meal, this will make your digestion better and and reduces chances of discomfort during practice.
- Light snack: If you have had light snack you can wait for 30 to 35 minute, after this waiting period you can do your yoga practice which is not going to harm you in any way.
- Heavy meal:- If you have had a heavy meal like, has lunch recently, you should wait 3 to 4 hours before practicing yoga.

- Digestion: When you have meal you body diverts the blood flow in digestion system to help in digestion. if you will start doing yoga just after eating, it will interrupt the process and make you feel discomfort.
- Discomfort:- If you start practicing yoga just after having a good amount of meal, you will feel nausea, vomiting and a-lot discomfort in your body.
- Energy level: Practicing too soon after having a proper meal may divert your whole energy towards digestion rather then your practice.
- Core Engagement:- A full stomach can let your belly engage less in the yoga and make you feel discomfort.
